Performing live professionally

This year, Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music) students honed their performative skills by playing one of their original compositions to a virtual audience, in a professionally-lit environment with visual projection-mapping, recorded with a crew of multi-camera operators and audio technicians.

Forging a career in music

This course has led students into music industry professions such as performing, management or promotion, and social engagement. Graduates work in an eclectic range of live, recording and multimedia environments as performers, producers, composers, developers of music software and games, DJs and private instrumental music teachers.

Many find national and international success, including Ball Park Music, Cub Sport, writer producer Konstantin Kersting (Tones and I, Mallrat, The Jungle Giants, Tia Gostelow), drummers Grant Collins and Pete Skelton, and film composer Michael Edwards.
