Registrations for BlueShift, a business case competition for high school students hosted by QUT, open on 25 October.
BlueShift is a team competition open to all high schools in Australia. With tips and support from successful QUT students and experienced business professionals, you'll apply the theory you've learnt in class to a problem faced by real businesses. As you compete against other teams from across Australia, you'll develop professional presentation and creative problem-solving skills, and find out what it's really like to work in the exciting world of business.
Teams must consist of three or four students in total and can include any combination of students enrolled in Years 10, 11 and 12.
We are also excited to announce that in 2022, up to two regional teams (that live more than four hours’ drive from Brisbane), that qualify for the Finals, will be eligible to receive up to $2,500 per team (maximum four students and one teacher/mentor) to cover their flights and transfers to Brisbane. They will also receive two nights’ accommodation, kindly donated by our awesome sponsor, Iglu. Iglu also offer regional scholarships if you decide come and study at university in Brisbane.
There are also great prizes up for grabs including a $2,000 scholarship to QUT and a cash prize.
