QUT offers dozens of scholarships to suit a broad range of skills and experience. Along with checking your eligibility, it’s important to be across the process of how to apply.
QUT Excellence Scholarship (Academic) no longer requires application
From 2022 future students do not need to apply to be considered for the QUT Excellence Scholarships (Academic). All eligible students who complete a QTAC application in line with QTAC key dates will be considered for this scholarship. This includes the Business Academic Excellence Scholarship and the QUT STEM Scholars Academic Scholarship.
QUT Excellence Scholarship (Creative Industries) and QUT Excellence Scholarship (Elite Visual and Performing Arts) also don’t require an application. Students are required to apply to QTAC and complete individual audition or portfolio-based requirements.
As part of QUT’s commitment to Women in STEM, the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Engineering will be offering at least 50% of QUT Excellence Scholarships (Academic) in STEM to female applicants. Top female applicants who preference QUT undergraduate courses in science, information technology, engineering, mathematics, and urban development, including double degrees, are eligible.
In addition to financial support, these scholarships will also provide invaluable experience, including access to programs for women in STEM to build important networks, collaborate and build relationships with other women, and collaborate on world-leading programs.
