Real-world experience

'Studying financial planning at QUT has helped my understanding of concepts and practices that happen day-to-day in the financial planning sector.  I recently joined the industry by applying for a job that was posted on the QUT Financial Planning Students Community page. The trainee role was open to QUT financial planning students who had completed at least 60% of their degree.  I decided to seize this opportunity to combine flexible study with my career start. While it’s a massive learning curve undertaking both work and study, every week I’m acquiring new insight, and gaining hands on experience in the industry I’m so passionate about.'
