Professor Gayle Kerr is a lecturer and researcher in advertising and integrated marketing communications in the QUT Business School. Her passion for advertising began as a copywriter where she gained real-world experience working in the industry for more than a decade, before transitioning to a career of teaching and researching.

Professor Kerr is one of the country’s leading advertising academics, and has been awarded Australia’s highest University Teaching Award, as well as being recognized with the prestigious American Academy of Advertising Billy I. Ross Award for Education. Her passion continues to grow as she inspires her students to pursue a rewarding career in advertising.
