A rewarding mentorship
Engineering mentor Stephen O'Brien from the John Holland Group was named QUT's 2013 Mentor of the Year for his mentorship of Aaron Vujicic.
As a graduate, we encourage you to stay connected to the QUT community. You could represent QUT internationally, help to guide the career of a current student, or extend your knowledge and skills through our short courses and professional development opportunities.
Mentor a student
Mentoring is an extremely rewarding experience for both mentor and student. Your knowledge and experience could make a great difference to someone about to start a career in science, technology, engineering, mathematics (STEM) or urban development.
Take the opportunity to guide a student's career path with the QUT Career Mentor Scheme.
There are opportunities for alumni to represent QUT at events held outside of Australia.
If you were an international student who has returned home or an Australian student now working abroad and you would like to represent QUT, we would like to hear from you. Contact our Alumni and Development Office for more information.
Short courses and professional development
We provide a variety of personal and professional development opportunities for groups and individuals. Boost your career or extend your skills with one of our short courses.
Give to QUT
Every gift has an impact. Gifts to our causes can change lives through education, research and community service. Giving back empowers our alumni to be agents of positive change.
