Lego EV3, littleBits and Sphero in the classroom

This QUT Teacher Professional Development workshop is designed to take you through the hardware and software of EV3, littleBits and Sphero – not only what they are but how to apply them in Science as a Human Endeavour to design a driverless robot and engineer a satellite.

You will have direct access to our team’s expertise as we share how we use these platforms to teach students the art of programming through “doing”, using real-world, hands-on innovative learning experiences. You will also experience the Cube, learn some quick activities with Spheros and we may even meet Pepper the robot.

Registration Note: As only 30 spaces are available, this event is limited to Year 5 to 9 teachers of STEM subjects who are currently teaching at schools in QLD and Northern NSW.
