Data-driven duties in the development of artificial intelligence

17-07-2019 Please join the QUT Faculty of Law for a special event with Professor Frank Pasquale, a leading international expert in the global algorithmic accountability movement. The talk will describe torts that may arise due to the deployment of AI and robotics (and some which have already arisen). The focus is on one particular type of failing: the use of inaccurate or inappropriate data in training sets used for machine learning.
