04-08-2015 - 04-08-2015 Meet QUT graduate and NASA scientist Dr Abigail (Abby) Allwood, who was recently named as one of the leaders of NASA's next mission to Mars. More specifically, she will be one of seven principal investigators in charge of the scientific instruments on the Mars 2020 rover, which will be sent to the red planet in 2020 to assess whether there was ever any life on Mars. Abby is the first woman and the first Australian to be given the prestigious role.
