Kelpie is a self-driving vehicle that can avoid moving objects that come into its path using cameras and sensors!
It aims to reduce human efforts in less productive transportation activities, while ensuring error rates are far lower than those resulting from human decision making.
Kelpie is based upon an autonomy architecture developed by Agent Oriented Software who are currently partnering with RAAF Plan Jericho in conjunction with the Australian Centre for Robotic Vision at QUT in Brisbane to develop an autonomous vehicle solution for airfield logistics support.
