Political activism and policy change

Examining the role the civil sector plays in politics, and the evolving tactics they employ to push for social change is essential in understanding policy-making and political change. Projects on this theme focus on the strategies and influence of interest groups in politics on a wide range of justice issues (for example: gun control; migration; marriage equality). Specific projects may include an analysis of political activism within one country (for example, Australia) or a comparative analysis.
