CLIN04 - Regional velocity of the centre of pressure during gait in adults with hallux valgus compared to controls
This project involves secondary analysis of plantar pressure data collected during walking gait of adults with foot deformity (hallux valgus/bunions) and matched controls (n=38). The findings of this study will increase our understanding of how forward progression of body weight might be altered in individuals with foot deformity, potentially contributing to gait instability and falls in older adults.
