We are offering opportunities to conduct research into two areas of computational medicine:

  • The stochastic mathematical modelling of individual level health behaviour decisions. This includes smoking, exercise and medical help, and their impact on long-term quality and length of life.
  • The notion of conformational spread. This is a new model for how information might propagate stochastically though physical networks of biomolecules in order to produce coherent behaviour from apparently random processes with particular applications to brain signal generation and processing.
