This project will mainly involve the design of new catalysts for realizing important organic transformations. Much work will be done regarding analysis of molecules as well as materials characterization using X-ray diffraction, electron microscopy and other methods.

Research activities

Students will get well trained on using advanced facilities and chemical analysis. You will be asked to conduct novel research work in terms of:

  • materials design and synthesis
  • catalysis mechanism investigation
  • molecular analysis.


As an  outcome of this project, we expect to produce publications in high-impact journals and expand certain knowledge in chemistry and analysis.

Skills and experience

If you have a chemistry and physics background you are highly encouraged to apply.
