SECAN was developed using Visual Studio to conduct bridge deck analysis, which could be executed under Windows XP. By including some system files it could also be executed under Windows 10. Students are required to improve the software so that it could be executed under Windows 10 directly. An option is to translate it first to Python and test each subprogram.
This project aims to improve the software for comparison with other bridge deck analyses.
Expected outcomes of this project are:
- an improved version of SECAN, based on which some comparative studies on few bridge deck will be conducted.
