Overview

The project aims to investigate how conceptual modeling methods can be used to improve understanding of the data and help to select the best approach for predictive analytics.

Research activities

This project aims to develop a modelling method to improve understanding of the available data.

To achieve the objectives of this project, theories such as ontological theories or cognitive theories (e.g., theory of multimedia learning) will be used to develop new methods to represent big data and the relationships between different data sets.

Outcomes

As a result of this project, we expect to write an article for publication in research journals.

PhD and Master's students can also use this project as a basis for their thesis.

Skills and experience

For this project, you should have a Bachelor and/or Master's degree in computer science, IT, information science or any other relevant area.
