Overview

We know that agricultural practices are changing due to climate change and other factors. We would like to map this change using remote sensing so that we can see, for example, are famers planting crops earlier or later in the season.

Research activities

Design and develop an algorithm to detect how land use has changed over time.

Outcomes

  • An application that with the functionality describe above.
  • A report on the student’s progress.

Skills and experience

Background in computer science or remote sensing.

Scholarships

You may be able to apply for a research scholarship in our annual scholarship round.
