The Information Studies Group has also been identified by the 2010 ERA assessment as the national leader in this field of research. Its research concentrates on our understanding of the experience of information users, and on improving systems and practices of communities and organisations. The team works across many disciplines, bringing together researchers with a focus on digital environments, library and information studies, and learning and innovation.
