The QUT alumni community receives a boost this week, with almost 7,000 graduates set to receive their parchments.
While the ceremonies signify the end of a course of study, QUT Alumni Manager Ken Gideon says they don't indicate the end of a graduate's connection with QUT.
"Graduations are exciting for us because they mark the beginning of a new chapter in the graduate's QUT journey," Mr Gideon said.
"We have more than 180,000 alumni of QUT and its predecessor institutions whom we keep in touch with through our publications and networking events, and who we recognise through our annual Outstanding Alumni Awards."
