October spotlight on childhood obesity: key PEACH learnings and why do services matter?: Key learnings from the free PEACH (Parenting, Eating and Activity for Child Health) program delivered across Queensland over the past three years to families like the Drydens (pictured) will be presented this month in Brisbane at the 2016 ANZOS Annual Scientific Meeting.

Robot law – forging a new legal discipline: Robots are part of everyday lives – they are used in hospitals for intricate surgery, in the environment to monitor species, and on the battlefield, but the legal system is struggling to keep up with regulation of robotics, says QUT Intellectual Property and Innovation Professor Mathew Rimmer.

Dr Jonathan Peake’s ice baths after exercise research was in the Gold Coast Bulletin and Herald Sun. The story was also run by Fairfax including Brisbane Times, The Age and The Sydney Morning Herald.
- The Australian, Courier-Mail, Business Acumen and The Bull, mentioned NAB chief executive Andrew Thornburn’s presentation at the Business Leaders’ Forum.
- Adjunct Professor Ros Harvey spoke to ABC radio’s Queensland Country Hour  about on farm sensors and ABC Radio’s The World Today on the use of technology in agriculture.
