Christine Holgate, Group CEO and Managing Director, Australia Post will speak at the first QUT Business Leaders' Forum for 2018.

Christine Holgate

Christine Holgate was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Australia Post in October 2017. She joins Australia Post at a time of severe market disruption, and as it enters a new stage in its transformation in the eCommerce market in Australia and Asia.

Before joining Australia Post, Christine was CEO of the ASX-listed health supplements company, Blackmores Limited, with a market capitalisation of $2 billion. In her nine years at the helm, she drove significant growth in profits and dividends at Blackmores, on the back of substantial growth for the company’s products in Asia.

Christine is known for her authenticity, passion, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. She is the inaugural Chair of the Board of the Australian-ASEAN Council and she also serves on the Board of the Collingwood Football Club. In 2015, Christine was the first woman to be named ‘CEO of the Year’ by The CEO Magazine and she was also recognised as one of Australia's top business people by the AFR in the same year.

At the QUT Business Leaders’ Forum, Christine will share with us her remarkable personal and career journey, from humble beginnings in London, and her rise to become one of Australia's most respected business leaders. Christine will describe the leadership that matters to her and why she puts a laser-like focus on culture and alignment of values in the organisations that she leads. She will also discuss the key strategic issues that Australia Post is currently tackling as part of its transformation journey.

Once again we welcome as Moderator one of Australia's leading journalists, Kerry O'Brien.

Please join us for this fascinating QUT Business Leaders’ Forum, the first for 2018.
