Are you a QUT Practical Legal Training alumnus, student or staff member? Take this opportunity to connect with classmates, colleagues and friends and walk down memory lane for the Legal Practice Course's 40th Anniversary.
It’s been 40 years since QIT’s Legal Practice Course first ran in 1978 with 14 students. During the past 40 years, several thousand aspiring lawyers have completed the course. Our alumni include a Chief Justice, a Family Court of Appeal Justice, District Court Judges, Family Circuit Court Judges, Magistrates, Law Firm Principals, Barristers and Solicitors.
The evening will include drinks, canapés and socialising with old friends. All proceeds will go directly to the Rod Grant and Peter Wilson Memorial Fund which awards a prize to the PLT student who provides the best answer to a problem set by the Trustees of the Fund. The problem is designed to be the capstone of students’ experience and to test students’ knowledge, common sense and understanding of ethics and professional conduct.
A photographic display of past students, staff and events will be playing throughout the evening. If you would like to contribute to this please email your photographs to lawengage@qut.edu.au for inclusion.
Register by Thursday 8 October at http://bit.ly/QUTPLT40th.
