Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of property group Mirvac and one of the most influential women in Australian business, will address the final QUT Business Leaders’ Forum for the year on October 25.
WHAT: QUT Business Leaders’ Forum – Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz, Mirvac Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director
WHEN: Wednesday, October 25, 2017, noon-2pm
WHERE: The Grand Ballroom, Hilton Brisbane
Since her appointment in 2012 as Mirvac CEO and Managing Director, Susan Lloyd-Hurwitz has spearheaded the company’s growth. Mirvac owns and manages property assets valued at more than $17 billion and sits on the ASX Top 50 Companies List.
Prior to joining the group, Ms Lloyd-Hurwitz was Managing Director at LaSalle Investment Management. She has also held a number of senior executive roles across Australia, the United States and Europe, including in Macquarie Group, MGPA and Lend Lease Corporation.
Earlier this year she was elected National President of the Property Council of Australia, after serving as a National Vice-President.
When taking up the presidency she identified that “housing affordability, congestion and infrastructure gaps are taking their toll” on Australia’s cities, and said her focus would be on “policies that create productive and liveable cities and encourage housing that is attainable for everyone”.
At the QUT Business Leaders’ Forum, she will discuss the housing affordability debate, Mirvac’s approach in this and other areas, as well as her personal leadership journey and the moments that have defined her career.
Leading journalist Kerry O’Brien will again moderate the Forum at the Hilton Brisbane.
Tickets for the QUT Business Leaders’ Forum are on sale now.
