Gardens Point campus

Gardens Point is on the edge of the Brisbane central business district, situated next to the beautiful city gardens and alongside the Brisbane River. This central location strengthens our close links with business and industry.

Gardens Point boasts the Science and Engineering Centre, a state-of-the-art contemporary research and learning facility that brings together science, technology, engineering and mathematics in a cutting edge environment.

The Gardens Cultural Precinct includes a theatre and exhibition program showcasing student productions in acting, dance and music, as well as works by visiting Australian and international companies. The QUT Art Museum and William Robinson Gallery offer a program of changing exhibitions.

Public transport, accommodation, shopping and dining options are all within walking distance.

Kelvin Grove campus

Kelvin Grove campus is located only 2km from Brisbane CBD. The campus is adjacent to the award-winning Kelvin Grove Urban Village, which includes student accommodation, markets, shopping and restaurants.

The campus hosts the Institute of Health and Biomedical Innovation, and the QUT Health Clinics, which provide practical clinical experience for students and free or low-cost healthcare to the community.

Kelvin Grove is also home to the Creative Industries Precinct: Australia's first dedicated site for creative experimentation and commercial development in the creative industries.

Our campuses are easy to reach with public transport: you can travel by bus, train or ferry. The two campuses are also linked by a free inter-campus shuttle that runs frequently throughout the day.

Gardens Point has its own ferry stop, and is only a short walk from central train stations, and close to all city bus services. Kelvin Grove is linked to the city and suburbs with a frequent, reliable bus network.
