Some courses have additional entry requirements, like auditions, interviews, portfolios or questionnaires. Make sure you check your course details for entry requirements and application due dates.
If you're an international Year 12 student currently studying at an Australian high school, your academic entry is based on your OP or rank score.
To assess your English language proficiency, we accept test results from:
You must take your proficiency test no more than 2 years before the start of your course.

If you are in Australia, you can complete the IELTS proficiency exam at our IELTS test centre.

If you don't meet the English language or academic requirements for your course, you can study English language or academic bridging courses at QUT before you start your course.
The QUT International College offers English language and academic pathway programs to help you meet the entry requirements for your preferred course.
If you have IELTS or TOEFL results, we can estimate how much English you may need to meet the requirements for your course. We will then give you a new package offer which includes English courses. You will be able to apply for a student visa to cover all courses you're studying. Email your latest
