Reach your goals with career support, scholarships and study help.

Scholarships and awards

We offer a range of scholarships to support you through your studies.

Our scholarships reward excellence, relieve financial stress and provide networking opportunities that can improve your employment prospects.

We also present more than 90 prizes and awards to students each year to recognise academic excellence in their chosen area of study.

Career support

Get the help you need with our Student Success Group. Connect with career and employment experts who can help you with applications for work placements, internships and graduate positions in the healthcare industry.

Get the edge for your future career with tailored advice on building résumés, interview techniques, employability, career planning and recruitment processes.

Practical, interactive workshops and information sessions will help you get ahead of the pack. We'll also help you make important connections with healthcare professionals at networking events.

How we support students

Research support

Studying a research degree is your chance to make your mark. And we understand the unique challenges this level of study can present. To help you get off the ground, we offer research degree scholarships and support for our students as they develop solutions to the world's greatest challenges.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander support

We provide a range of ongoing support and assistance in a culturally supportive environment. We host academic, cultural and social activities throughout the year, including a specialised orientation program.

Working closely with the Oodgeroo unit, we can connect you with the broader Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander healthcare community, as well as employers and organisations who offer tailored programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health students.
