Impact of your gift

At a glance:

  • Learning Potential Fund - 1,884 students benefited from the support of our donors in 2012, with 14,000 scholarships awarded since the fund's establishment in 1998.
  • Science and Engineering Centre - $25 million was generously donated to this project by The Atlantic Philanthropies.
  • Wound healing service - 53% of patients are healed after 12 weeks of treatment from the service, and 80% after 23 weeks.

QUT prides itself on having a strong community of supporters with a shared passion for enhancing the community through education and research. In fact, many of the things that make QUT a great Australian university are only made possible through the generosity of our donors.

With only 40% of our income coming from direct government grants, philanthropic giving is more important than ever before.

Your gift has a profound impact on our students, our research, our facilities and the communities we serve. Contributions to QUT help in providing strong student support, developing community projects, fostering culture and enhancing infrastructure.

Thank you for giving and making a real impact.

Impact: a report for donors

Impact is our annual publication acknowledging and celebrating the stories of our donors and funding recipients, and reporting on the outcome of gifts to QUT.
