X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p><strong>Design workshops 2026</strong></p><p>Hands-on design workshops for high school students.&nbsp\;</p><p>We are offering design workshops in the following areas:</p><ul><li>Design Skills</li><li>Ergonomics</li><li>Human-centred design</li><li>Design drawing</li><li>Sustainable design</li><li>Accessibility&nbsp\;</li></ul><p>If you are coming to campus to engage in these&nbsp\;workshops*\, they&nbsp\;can be accompanied by a university tour\, including a tour of our design studios. Alternatively\, some of these workshops can be delivered at your school or online. To book a design workshop\, please email Keith Alexander\, Student Engagement Coordinator at <a href="mailto:keith.alexander@qut.edu.au">keith.alexander@qut.edu.au</a> with the following information:</p><ul><li>Number of students</li><li>Year level(s)</li><li>Design topics</li><li>Potential Dates (Provide at least 2)&nbsp\;</li><li>Arrival and departure time</li></ul><p>Please book at least 3 weeks in advance.&nbsp\;</p><p>* By attending one of our design-related workshops and keeping these workshops free for all schools\, your school may be asked to participate in research that looks at design thinking as an approach to student achievement.
