Regioneering U
Engineering activities for regional communities.
The Faculty of Engineering would like to offer the Regioneering U Program to schools in the Toowoomba and Townsville regions. Regioneering U combines our Engineering U Program and QUT'\;s commitment to supporting students and teachers in regional communities. \;
In 2025\, we have chosen Toowoomba and Townsville to commence our Regioneering U Program\, as these places are the top two places where regional students majoring in Architecture\, Built Environment\, and \;Engineering are coming from. Furthermore\, with strong partnerships with companies like Boeing\, BMD\, \;Powerlink\, Waanyi Shamrock United (WSU) and many more\, we aspire to build connections between these companies and the future engineers living in these regional communities. In 2026\, we are looking to continue working with these communities\, but \;also would like to expand our support to \;the Western Downs\, Greater Whitsunday\, and Central Queensland Regions. \; \;
