X-ALT-DESC;FMTTYPE=text/html:<p><strong>QUT Dean's Award for Engineering\, Design\, & Indigenous Australian Students</strong></p><p>QUT Dean&#39\;s Award for Engineering\, Design &amp\; Indigenous Australian Students&nbsp\;in years 11 &amp\; 12.&nbsp\;</p><p>The Faculty of Engineering would like to offer the students of your school the QUT Dean&rsquo\;s Award for Engineering Prize\, which rewards a year 11 and a year 12 Engineering\, Design and Indigenous Australian Queensland* student&nbsp\;with the highest academic result in their cohort.</p><p><strong>QUT Dean&rsquo\;s Award for Engineering &amp\; Design&nbsp\;Prize&nbsp\;&nbsp\;2024</strong></p><ul><li>The Year 11 Engineering or Design subject prize includes a $50 JB Hi-Fi voucher and a certificate.</li><li>The Year 12 Engineering or Design&nbsp\;subject prize includes a $100 JB Hi-Fi voucher and a certificate. In addition\, the subject winner will be eligible for the <em>Dean&rsquo\;s Award for High School Achievement</em>. The Dean&rsquo\;s Award is a $3\,000 study bursary paid in the first semester of 2025&nbsp\;for prize-winning students who enrol in a full-time QUT Bachelor Degree in the following areas:<ul><li>All majors in <a href="https://www.qut.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-engineering-honours">Engineering</a></li><li>All majors in <a href="https://www.qut.edu.au/study/undergraduate/architecture-and-built-environment">Architecture &amp\; Built Environment&nbsp\;</a></li><li>All Majors in the <a href="https://www.qut.edu.au/courses/bachelor-of-design">Bachelor of Design</a> ( Faculty of Creative Industries)</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>QUT Dean&rsquo\;s Award for Indigenous Australian&nbsp\;Students 2024</strong></p><ul><li>The criteria for the Dean&#39\;s Award for Indigenous Australian Students is the same as above.</li><li><p>This initiative is a part of our Indigenous Australian Engagement&nbsp\;Strategy in the Faculty of Engineering\, which seeks to inspire and motivate Indigenous Australian students&nbsp\;to consider and continue to pursue careers in Engineering and Design.</p></li></ul><p><strong>Bursary conditions</strong></p><ul><li>The prize winners of all year 12 Engineering or Design are eligible for this bursary.</li><li>Students cannot defer the bursary offer.</li><li>Students who receive a higher monetary scholarship or bursary offer\, are not eligible for the study bursary (except for the Equity Scholarship).</li></ul><p>The introduction of the Indigenous Australian awards means teachers can nominate 2 students per year level\, per subject area\, one Indigenous Australian&nbsp\;and one non-Indigenous Australian student.&nbsp\;</p><p>Please click on the links below to nominate your students.
