Curiosity needs to convert to commitment for it to be meaningful. When ample opportunities have been identified, it’s time for confidence to be replaced with evidence. So when traditional decision-making processes are no longer sufficient, how do you take the leap from a curious enterprise to a decisive one?

In the final session of this three-part series, we’ll explore organisations that approach their future with decisiveness, and we’ll look at the related methods and decision-making models that underpin their commitment.

Karen Zheng’s research studies operations and supply chain management problems with a behaviour-centric, data-driven, field-based approach. Her research addresses four general topics: (I) the design and impact of digital platforms to enable efficient physical supply chains in resource constrained environments, (II) the role of information transparency in driving positive behaviors, especially for environmental and social responsibility, (III) the impact of a supply chain’s structural properties on the behaviours of various stakeholders, and (IV) the impact of consumer behaviours on retail operations.
