Three QUT students have proved they are among Australia’s most employable future leaders by making it into the finals of the Top 100 Future Leaders Competition.
The nationwide competition held in Sydney on Thursday 13 February aims to bring together aspiring graduates with future graduate employers.
To secure their finalist positions, students had to undertake a 'best-practice' graduate recruitment process that entailed submitting a resume and cover letter, psychometric testing, a group interview and individual presentations.
The QUT Student finalists are the following:
Tegan Raines, Bachelor of Business/ Bachelor of Laws (Hons)
Nominated for: First in Family Award and Law Award
Madison Birtchnell, Bachelor of Business
Nominated for: Sales and Marketing Award
Jayden Stuckey, Bachelor of Mathematics/Bachelor of Business
Nominated for: Data Science Award
When asked what it would mean to be a Future Leader, finalist Tegan Raines said ‘being named Future Leader would allow me to continue to make positive changes within the community, and have a greater impact as a leader.’
The Top 100 Future Leaders Competition is run annually by GradConnection in conjunction with Chandler Macleod and the Australian Financial Review (AFR).
