QUT Giving Day delivers real-world impact
Since 2018, QUT Giving Day has raised more than $3.6 million from 5,480 generous donors. This year on QUT’s third Giving Day, the QUT community rallied again to support world-changing education, research, and community projects. Together, 1,570 donors raised more than $1.2 million!
This funding is already empowering students to achieve their study dreams, working to save lives through research, and generating real-world solutions to protect our environment.
Contributions from alumni, staff, students, and the wider QUT community have had an enormous impact, supporting:
- 111 students in dire circumstances to realise their dreams of a tertiary education with a Learning Potential Fund scholarship
- Researchers to design and test potential new anti-cancer drugs to treat prostate cancer
- 152 hours of algorithm development for drone and AI systems to detect and save more koalas during bushfires
It is the many collective gifts from the QUT community that have a real-world effect – together, we are advancing vital initiatives that will shape the future of our university, our region, and our world.
