The QUT Learning Potential Fund has established the Donor Circle, a new fundraising initiative to recognise those who are investing in students’ academic futures.

The Donor Circle was launched at the 2019 Learning Potential Fund Dinner by Hugh Nalder, Chair of The Learning Potential Fund (LPF).

This new initiative recognises QUT LPF donors whose generosity and passion for education has helped thousands of students reach their potential.

These gifts have provided scholarships, and in turn self-empowerment, to those students with dreams and drive, but few resources.

The Donor Circle acknowledges donors who give $25,000 or more to the LPF over their lifetime.

Donors receive invitations to events, opportunities to meet the scholarship recipients and bespoke acknowledgement for their contributions to the LPF.

These donors share in the opportunity to contribute to the building of the Learning Potential Fund’s all-important capital base, and in some cases have a scholarship named in their honour.

As the only perpetual fund of its scale in Australia, each gift to the LPF creates a tangible and long-lasting opportunity, with the university underwriting administrative costs and matching every gift dollar-for-dollar.
