The Cube

Now open in our Science and Engineering Centre, The Cube is one of the world's largest digital interactive learning and display spaces for science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM).

The Cube is a hub of scientific exploration for high school students, the QUT community and the wider public. It inspires and engages the next generation of thinkers and doers with a year-round calendar of workshops, activities, exhibitions and events for children, young adults and the general public.

The Cube soars across two storeys of the new Science and Engineering Centre and comprises over 40 multi-touch, multi-user screens. The interactive screens provide a game-like environment where people of all ages can engage in learning about STEM in a fun and educational setting. School students can explore science and technology applications by participating in Lego Education® robotics workshops, knowledge treks, digital tours and hands-on holiday programs.

QUT has a strong commitment to supporting education in STEM to address the skills shortages in science and engineering professions. The Cube is part of this commitment.

By making a donation to support the Cube's range of education programs, you too will be making a commitment to engaging and educating the community and next generation of Australian workers.

Together we can inspire the imagination of our youth and secure Australia's future.
