QUT Entrepreneurship's IGNITE is a program that will step individuals and teams through the process of determining a viable business model.

IGNITE is a three day intensive program designed to take individuals or teams with a user-validated concept for a new product or service through the process of market validation, developing their market entry strategy, and the selection of a viable business model.

This program provides an opportunity for individuals (or teams) who have a conceptualised product or service to go through the process of customer/market validation in order to find their viable business model.

From the concept of market validation, through to developing your market entry strategy and selecting a suitable business model, this program is a beginner level, cohort based, pre-acceleration program that is open to everyone. It is delivered and facilitated by experienced entrepreneurs and industry practitioners.

The program aims to answer the questions:

  • How do I confirm customers will pay for my product?
  • What viable business model should I use to launch my idea?
  • What is my market entry strategy?
  • How to deliver an effective pitch?

By the end of this program, participants will be able to apply entrepreneurship principles to the selection of a business model; be able to determine and position their market entry strategy, and be able to deliver an effective pitch.

Format: Classroom, in person

*Eligibility Criteria: Must have a validated concept for a new product or service

*Presumed Knowledge: Lean Startup methodology, Customer validation

By the end of this program, participants will be able to apply entrepreneurship principles to the selection of a business model; be able to understand their business financials and key metrics; be able to determine and position their market entry strategy, and be able to deliver an effective pitch.
