Tom is the Director of Edison Talent, a Brisbane based IT recruitment company that specialises in Software Development, Leadership and Strategy. After finishing an IT Degree in Data Communications from QUT, Tom moved into Network Administration and then into IT Recruitment. He now runs a team of approximately 25 consultants nationally who work across everything from finance, security, mining, bitcoin, and weapons tech. Tom is our alumni panel host for 2021 and will be joined by two alumni panel guests.

Talent Resourcing Partner at Bupa

Melina has joined us for previous webinars and is back to share her wisdom on setting new starters up for success.

Melina is a talent management and recruitment specialist with a passion for values-led practice and ongoing learning. She’s been fortunate to have many incredible mentors, both at university and in the workforce, and has worked across non-profit, corporate and the government sectors. Currently she’s partnering with Bupa Health Services nationally to find, engage and onboard world-class talent.

NEXTDC is an ASX100 listed technology company that designs, builds and operates a national footprint of data centres in Australia. Ellie is responsible for driving NEXTDC’s human capital strategy, including recruitment, employee engagement, organisational change, learning and development, and reward and recognition. Ellie holds a double degree in Business (Human Resources) and Journalism from QUT and is an accredited Prosci Organisational Change Manager.
