Nicole Dyson, QUT Education Alum and the founder of Future Anything and YouthX, is a globally recognised standout in transforming young people’s passion and curiosity into innovative ideas through her energy-filled initiatives in student entrepreneurship.
Future Anything is an award-winning, curriculum-aligned entrepreneurship program for high school students, working with schools, colleges and education organisations of all sizes across Australia. YouthX is Australia's only startup accelerator program for school-aged entrepreneur, giving students the opportunity to take their ideas out of the classroom and into the real world with a team of champions backing them.
Even more than the face-to-face and online workshops, mentoring from a dynamic mix of entrepreneurs and industry leaders, and sheer inspiration that Nicole brings to young student’s experience of the world, Nicole has represented Australia as a delegate for the G20 Young Entrepreneur’s Alliance, contributes to the Foundation for Young Australian’s YLab program, was a finalist in the 2019 Business News Australia's Young Entrepreneur Awards, inspiring young students to pursue their dreams and create the future across the country.
One of Australia’s leading creative writers and public commentators on diversity and representation in the media has been named the QUT Creative Industries Faculty Outstanding Alumni Award winner.
