Entrepreneurs prefer to learn from those who have walked the path before them. The art of storytelling is a valuable tool within a connected community of like minded people.

As the nature of work continues to change, and with the rising rates of technological and business model innovation, entrepreneurship is a skill-set of increasing significance. Many professionals in traditional industries may never label themselves as entrepreneurs, and yet they have built practices, movements and organisations using innovative and entrepreneurial techniques.

Join us for this public speaker series of QUT alumni sharing their personal stories of success, failure, challenges, and everyday entrepreneurship across industries and verticals. There will be lots to  learn, with valuable takeaways that you won't find in any text book or program.

*Light refreshments and networking opportunity also provided.

Featured Alumnus: Greg Dower, Co-founder, MyFootDr

Entrepreneurship involves putting your best foot forward. For QUT-educated entrepreneur Greg Dower, it’s not just his own foot but thousands of others he’s helped put forward.

The co-founder of MyFootDr has combined his medical, technology and entrepreneurial skills to build a business that now operates internationally out of Brisbane and is chaired by SharkTank regular Glen Richards.

Greg Dower was one of the first graduates out of QUT’s Bachelor of Applied Science with a podiatry major.
