2020 STAR Awards celebrate student excellence in education

15th December 2020

Congratulations to the Faculty of Education students awarded for academic excellence at the 2020 STAR Awards in December.

The STAR (Student Achievement and Recognition) Awards acknowledge the academic achievements of Faculty of Education students, and the commitment and dedication they have shown to their studies.

A prize was awarded to a student from each coursework course who attained the highest course GPA over the duration of their study, in addition to the highest achieving international coursework student. These awards were made possible thanks to the support of our sponsors.

The 2020 Executive Dean's Scholars were also acknowledged. These students achieved a Grade Point Average of 6.5 or more. As a Dean's Scholar, students will be given opportunities to develop and expand their academic networks and have firsthand experiences in research environments.
