Why choose this course?

You will develop practical knowledge and understanding of current research, theory and practice, led by QUT's experts in early childhood.

What to expect

Early childhood research has consistently provided evidence that the experiences and environments of children in the early years are important for strong social-emotional development and positive learning outcomes through school and into adulthood, and influence children's health and wellbeing across their lives. Because of increased recognition of the importance of the early years to later outcomes, there is increased demand for highly trained professionals who can specifically support the diverse learning needs of young children.

Flexible delivery

You can choose to study externally or on campus. All the lectures are recorded and study materials are available online. You can access these resources at any time to help you fit study into your lifestyle.
