The information technology component of the course offers you the choice of majoring in computer science or information systems.

In this double degree, you'll complete coursework from each degree with additional QUT You units. The Bachelor of Science component encompasses core units, Mathematics Core Unit Options, and a major in areas including Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Climate Science, Earth Science, Environmental Science, and Physics.
Meanwhile, the Bachelor of Information Technology includes core units and a major in areas such as Computer Science and Information Systems.
Careers and outcomes
Graduates may find roles where they can use their information technology skills within the science discipline. Areas include sensor networks, complex system and scientific modelling, and science. If you're a current Queensland Year 12 student, you may be eligible to receive an offer for this course on the last day of Queensland Year 12, before receiving your ATAR or selection rank.

Advanced standing
