National Centre for Econometric Research (NCER)

The National Centre for Econometric Research (NCER) is aligned with economic research in the QUT Business School, and is dedicated to enhancing, undertaking and disseminating knowledge about econometric research methods among public policymakers, business professionals and the academic community.

Infrastructure

  • Heart rate monitors
  • Pending ARC Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities (LIEF) scheme application for physiological measurement tools in a laboratory setting, such as heart rate, EEG, skin temperature, hormonal variations, genetic analysis

  • address the 45th General Assembly of the InterAmerican Center of Tax Administration, a high-level conference on the design of taxation systems in Latin America (Benno Torgler)
  • attend the Australian Research and Policy conference on certification and accreditation in the nonprofit sector organised by the Centre of Social Impact (Uwe Dulleck)
  • serve as Bundesbank (German Central Bank) Professor in Berlin for two months in 2012 (Uwe Dulleck).
