At ACPNS, we welcome your support of our work as Australia’s leading centre for research, education and community engagement for the nonprofit sector.
Support from industry
Leading Australian and international philanthropic organisations, including The Atlantic Philanthropies, Ian Potter Foundation, George Alexander Foundation and Reid Charitable Trusts have supported the Centre’s work through student scholarships, research grants, sponsorship of academic positions or visiting scholars, and support for engagement activities.
How you can help
There are many ways you can support our students. You may choose to support student scholarships and bursaries, fund research programs or donate online to the centre.
Scholarships and bursaries have helped many of our students to complete our postgraduate programs and go on to become leaders in the nonprofit sector. They make the world of difference to many of our students, who are generally working on lower than commercial salaries and often do not have the luxury of employer-funded education subsidies.
They are particularly important to the one in five of our students who study externally from interstate or regional Queensland and require assistance to attend the compulsory on-campus elements of their course in Brisbane.
We also seek funding for our leading research programs, including cutting-edge research on nonprofit governance and legal issues, social entrepreneurship, philanthropy and fundraising, and the implementation of the ACPNS-developed Standard Charter of Accounts.
You can donate online or contact the Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies to discuss your interest in our work.
