Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies

The Australian Centre for Philanthropy and Nonprofit Studies promotes collaboration between academics and research students with expertise in philanthropy, nonprofit organisations, and the social economy.

National Centre for Econometric Research

The National Centre for Econometric Research promotes research in developing of new methodologies, estimating economic and financial behaviour, and assessing the effects of public policy. The National Centre for Econometric Research is an initiative of QUT and the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).

High-potential research groups

These competitive programs of existing and emerging research strength have received funding from QUT Business School to encourage research intensification, support research culture, and enable the mentorship of early career researchers.

Accounting for Social Change Group

This group's research investigates and evaluates existing frameworks of reporting and disclosure of financial and non-financial information, and the role of auditing in providing assurance and adding credibility to reporting.

Dynamic Capabilities of Innovation and Change Group

This group's research identifies the capabilities and management processes involved in value chain innovation for practical outcomes that benefit industry, government and academia.

Queensland Behavioural Economics Group (QuBE)

This group focuses on the application of knowledge in economic behaviour in the areas of social and natural sciences, including health, education and information technology.

Resource and Development Economics and Public Policy Group

This group's focus is to use a range of economic research techniques to fully price the side effects of production systems to broader productivity, and to integrate environmental and resource economics with productivity analysis.

Work/Industry Futures Group

This group's multidisciplinary research addresses complex problems in organisational settings in order to advance social justice goals by connecting data at individual, organisational and political levels.
