Redkite is a leading national cancer charity that supports children and young people up to the age of 24 with cancer, and their families. Redkite's support is available from hospital to home: from the devastating moment of diagnosis, throughout long treatment periods and beyond. Redkite helps with the essential must-haves including information, counselling, financial assistance and help keeping up with education and career goals.

The Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) is dedicated to providing vital health care to anyone travelling, working or living in Australia. Their iconic emergency retrieval service operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The RFDS also offers a broad range of essential health care services that are delivered to rural and remote communities and provides the finest care to more than 290,000 Australians each year - that's one person every two minutes.

Project Pantry is a service offered by Burnie Brae to provide staple foods and personal care products to pensioners in our community through a monthly market day. The food assistance provided through Project Pantry reduces financial burden and enhances health and quality of life for approximately 400 people each month.

Harmony Place is a multicultural mental health and wellbeing service providing prevention, early intervention, counselling, and intensive support to at risk young people, families and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. Our clients are often the most vulnerable in the community and experience complex and severe mental illness. We help people recover their capacity to contribute to the broader Australian community.

Hummingbird House

Hummingbird House, Queensland's only children's hospice, will provide respite and care at the end of life for Queensland kids with life-limiting conditions, and their families. It will function as an eight bed, medically supported 'home away from home', providing physician and nursing support, and pain and symptom management. Hummingbird House will be a place where kids can be kids, families can reconnect, and precious memories can be created.

AEIOU Foundation

The AEIOU Foundation is one of Australia's largest not-for-profit organisations, delivering high-quality, full-time early intervention for children with autism aged two-and-a-half to six years. The Country Education Foundation of Australia is a national, not-for-profit organisation which helps disadvantaged school leavers in rural communities to get a start in life. They provide rural and remote students with grants for university, TAFE, apprenticeship and work expenses. In Queensland CEFA has volunteer-run groups in Clermont, Blackall, Roma and Cunnamulla. They receive no government grants and their work is funded through community fundraising and donations from supporters including Origin Energy.

Coast Guard Redcliffe

The Redcliffe Coast Guard and her rescue vessels are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with professional volunteer mariners servicing Moreton Bay and its surrounds. When the storms roll in, and the winds start to howl, when fishermen and families are running for home, the Redcliffe Coast Guard will always head out to sea when called to rescue. We never say no.

Brisbane Youth Service

Brisbane Youth Service (BYS) is a community-based organisation that works with homeless or at-risk young people aged 12-25 years. Now in its 34th year of operation, BYS provides assistance to young people through the understanding of their circumstances and assisting them in making more positive choices. A comprehensive range of services is offered from meeting basic needs such as food and showers through to intensive personal support.

Open Minds

Open Minds believes in an inclusive community and the right of people with disability to have the support and access to live a life of choice, fulfilment and contribution.

Second Chance Programme

Second Chance Programme (SCP) raises money for the hundreds of women in Brisbane who have been made homeless through domestic violence, illness and financial difficulties. SCP has been able to assist with housing more than 150 women in its few years of fundraising, however in today's economic climate we need all the help we can get to place women beyond homelessness.

Formed two years ago, Melanoma Patients Australia Inc (MPA) is a support network for people with melanoma and their families and now has over 500 members. The organisation provides information on melanoma, its causes and incidence and offers a website, chatroom and public information evenings. MPA is raising funds to establish a part time telephone referral and advocacy service.
