Tracey Spicer, one of Australia’s best known journalists and QUT Alumnus presents ‘The Good Girl Stripped Bare’. Tracey is renowned for the courage of her convictions, passion for social justice, commitment to equality, and long term and active supporter of the QUT Learning Potential Fund. This is the breakfast you will not want to miss.

Tracey Spicer is an iconoclast whose TEDx Talk ‘The Lady Stripped Bare’ has been seen by nearly 1.5 million people. Tracey’s career spans over 30 years in anchored national news, current affairs and lifestyle programs for Network Ten, Sky News and ABC TV. Tracey has brought her sassy style to talkback radio. Her ‘full-frontal’ columns appear in metropolitan newspapers and on opinion websites.

She is the co-founder and national convenor of Women in Media a nationwide mentoring and networking group, backed by the Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance.

Her book, The Good Girl Stripped Bare, was published by HarperCollins in April.

Tracey Spicer is a QUT Learning Potential Fund Ambassador. The Learning Potential Fund provides scholarships to students in financial need. It gives bright and ambitious students the chance to pursue a university education, where otherwise, they’d have none.

The QUT Learning Potential Fund inspires self-belief, supports students through adversity and changes lives.

QUT Learning Potential Fund Breakfast series is proudly supported by Coca Cola Amatil and u&u Recruitment Partners.
