Michael 'Mick' Adams

PhD in Public Health 2007

Mick was the 2010 QUT Chancellor's Outstanding Alumnus. He has a long history of working on health issues specifically within Australian Indigenous communities. In 2006, he won the Deadly Award for Outstanding Achievement in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health.

Michael Bonning

Bachelor of Applied Science 2004, Bachelor of Applied Science Honours 2005

Michael was the 2008 QUT Outstanding Young Alumnus. In 2009, he was named in Australia's top 10 emerging leaders in health. In addition to being an MD, Michael is also a director of Beyond Blue within Australia. Michael was a past member of the QUT Alumni Board.

Tashi Chhozom

Master of Laws 2010

Tashi was a 2013 recipient of a QUT Special Excellence Award. In 2012, she was appointed the first female Justice of the Supreme Court, in the Supreme Court of Bhutan. She is very passionate about women's issues and working with juveniles.

Marisa Vecchio

Master of Business Administration 2000

Marisa has been very active with the QUT Alumni Program since 2005. She was a previous member and President of the QUT Alumni Board. In 2013, Marisa received the QUT Alumni Service Award, and in 2004, was named the Telstra Queensland Business Woman of the Year. At present, she is working on renovating Hanworth House in Brisbane.
