Shuttle bus timetable

The University provides a free shuttle bus service to assist students and staff travelling between the Gardens Point and Kelvin Grove campuses for the purpose of attending lectures or attending to University business. The 391 service is operated for the University by Brisbane Transport. QUT staff, students and visitors are able to travel free on route 391 but will need to show the driver their QUT identity card or temporary bus pass when boarding the bus. Temporary bus passes for visitors attending QUT on official business can be obtained from the Student Services counters at X Block, Gardens Point and F Block, Kelvin Grove or by emailing qut.cakg_enq@qut.edu.au.

Services operate all year round, excluding weekends, public holidays and the days between Christmas Day and New Years Day when the University is closed. The 391 timetable varies in frequency during the year. A 10 minute service is provided during semester 1 and 2, and a 15 minute service at other times. The timetable is also available via QUT Virtual where you can obtain the departure times for the next 4 services. While every reasonable attempt is made to adhere to the arrival and departure times listed on the timetable, the services are affected by traffic conditions and there may be some delays during the course of the day, particularly at peak travel times. It is therefore recommended that you plan your trip accordingly.

The 391 service stops at:

Kelvin Grove
Musk Avenue (close to the intersection with Victoria Park Road)
Musk Avenue (close to the intersection with Carraway Street)
Gardens Point
Alice Street stop 95A (close to the intersection with Albert St)

The Musk Avenue, Kelvin Grove stop is used for scheduling departure times from Kelvin Grove.

The lower Musk Avenue stop at Kelvin Grove (opposite the Creative Industries Precinct) is a 'hail and ride' or set down stop only.

Buses don't stop between campuses.
