Dr Xi Chen

Biography
Dr Chen has over 10-year experience in building energy efficiency related to passive design, renewable application and built environment modelling. He has worked on and led funded research projects with a total value of more than 5M HK$ and multiple consultancy projects with the local government and industry. He published 34 papers in peer-reviewed international journals and co-authored a book in green building and renewable application areas. He has also been awarded the DECRA Fellow in the Australian Research Council and Fulbright Scholar in the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. In addition, he acted as the chief secretary in the 10th International Conference on Applied Energy (ICAE 2018), Topic Editor of Energies, Guest Editor of Applied Energy, and reviewers for SCI journals and funding agencies.Personal details
