Experience
Tom entered academia after 13 years of working in clinical roles in the private and public sectors. In addition to working in a private practice, Tom's work in the public sector predominately involved collaboration with foot and ankle orthopaedics. Tom developed and implemented clinical triage clinics across two health networks, ultimately reducing waiting-times and improving patient flow through orthopaedic clinics. Along with working in metropolitan clinics, Tom previously worked in remote Aboriginal communities in the Northern Territory and he has spent some time working in the UK.
